Warriors come out to play

Warriors vs Fight
The Philadelphia Fight (4-1) travel to New Haven to take on last year's national championship runners up, the New Haven Warriors (3-2).  The Warriors were big winner's in Round 5 against Oneida while Philadelphia lost their first match against the DC Slayers.  Only two points separate both teams in the standings and with three rounds remaining, every game counts.  Philadelphia are battling a number of injuries from their tough encounter with DC whereas the Warriors are almost at full strength and enjoying the home field advantage.

This promises to be a huge battle for both teams, with every match weighing heavily into the playoff mix now.

Rebellion vs Jacksonville
After a rough start to the season, the Rhode Island Rebellion have turned their season around with back-to-back victories that have them on the cusp of playoff contention.   This recent form will be well and truly tested with a red hot Jacksonville team that are celebrating their first home ground game since Round 2 and a big home crowd is expected.  Due to the number of season ending injuries that have devistated the Axemen roster, they have signed former Helensburg Tiger and current Orange County Outlaw player, Bryce Collins, to the remainder of the season.

The Axemen have invited all area Firefighters and their families to attend the July 16 game against the Rhode Island Rebellion for FREE. The gesture is in part to recognize their title sponsorship with Firehouse Subs, but also to say thank you to the local area Men and Women who serve in one of the most dangerous occupations as recent area fires took the lives of two Firefighters. The Axemen will also host a special raffle to raise money for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation - the prize will be an Autographed Axemen Jersey AND Firehouse Subs for a YEAR.

The game is at Hodges stadium at 5pm and streamed live on their website Jaxaxe.com

In other games the NJ Turnpike Titans take on the undefeated D.C. Slayers while the Boston Thirteens battle it out with local club Oneida FC.
