Southeast Orthopedic Specialists (SOS), will provide the sideline Doctors for all three games of the Rugby League World Cup Qualifiers.

Dr. Kevin Murphy and Southeast Orthopedic Specialists have a long running partnership with the Jacksonville Axemen and have provided orthopedic care, including a number of surgeries, to many Axemen players over the years. All with incredible results, and all being able to return to the playing field.

 

Dr. Kevin Murphy is an orthopedic consultant to The White House, The Pentagon, and has treated Presidents, Vice Presidents and over 300 of the nations top officials.

He along with Dr. Paul Shirley who is nationally known for his expertise in Knee Surgery, and other "SOS" physicians will cover player injuries for all three teams during the games in Jacksonville and Deland.

SOS also covers a number of local High Schools and is the official Orthopedic Partner to UNF Athletics, and are known for their expertise in Sports Medicine and their ability to return players to their game.

“Having this level of expertise available immediately to injured players on the field can be crucial for the players’ future,” said event coordinators. “Being able to start the treatment of the injury, literally at the time it happens, gives the athlete the best advice on further medical care, and the highest chance of total recovery from any orthopedic issues.”
