Rebellion Secure Home Playoff with victory over Kings

The Rebellion had put up a quick two tries to start of the game however, some errors and penalties had the Rebellion under pressure from the Kings for several sets.  The Kings were able to claw back into the game with some great plays putting up 6 points to the Rebellion’s 12.  In the closing of the first half Mike Jones and Andrew Stockhecker took advantage of some great forward play and were able to connect to put in another try sending the Rebellion into halftime up 16-6.

The start of the second half was looking like Brooklyn was about to make a comeback, as they had the Rebellion under pressure committing penalties in their own half, to which they were able to convert to a try.  However when it looked like all might fall apart for the RIR, they settled down, committed, and communicated on defense shutting down the attack from Brooklyn.  The Rebellion, lifted by their defensive effort, sparked an all out rampage by the boys on offense.  The boys with confidence in their defense started to loosing up on offense and started having some fun, passing and making smart choices.  At the end of the game the Rebellion had put up an impressive 42 points in the 2nd half to 4 points from Brooklyn.  The Final Score 58-10 RIR over Brooklyn.
