Hawks v Bravehearts Match Details Feb 27 Las Vegas

The United States Association of Rugby League (USARL) has announced that the USA Hawks will host Scotland in an international triple-header on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Cougar Stadium (Coronado High School) in Henderson, Nevada.  

The fixture marks a historic milestone for rugby league in the United States, with the Men’s, Women’s, and Youth (U19) national teams touring together for the first time.

The Las Vegas event will also be the first international tour under the USA Hawks’ new national program leadership, led by Co-Heads of Football Shane Morris and Kurt Stocks, following a comprehensive overhaul of USARL’s national team structures and development pathways.

The USA Hawks and Scotland Bravehearts will contest three international matches across U19 Men’s, Senior Women’s, and Senior Men’s levels in a single evening showcase.

Match Schedule – Friday, February 27

• Gates Open: 3:00 PM

• U19 Men’s International: 3:45 PM

• Women’s International: 6:00 PM

• Men’s International: 8:15 PM

Tickets are priced at $15 and are available online or at the gate. Food and merchandise concessions will be available inside the stadium.

USA Hawks Men’s Head Coach Adam Woolnough, who will lead the senior men’s team for the first time, said the matchup with Scotland promises to be a strong test.

“Scotland and ourselves are evenly matched, and they bring a never-say-die mentality,” Woolnough said. “We have players earning their first caps alongside experienced internationals who are passionate about representing their country and continuing to build the profile of the Hawks on the world stage.”
 

USARL Chair Matt Goschnick said the tour represents an important step forward for the sport nationally.

“Bringing our Men’s, Women’s, and Youth programs together demonstrates the strength of the pathways we are building. Since our comprehensive review, there has been significant work taking place behind the scenes, and we’re excited to see that effort come together in Las Vegas as we showcase the next chapter of the USA Hawks program against Scotland, who have invested significant effort into the development of their own programs".
