US ASSOCIATION OF RUGBY LEAGUE OFFICIAL

USA Rugby League Names Men’s, Women’s, and Youth National Squads for Historic Las Vegas Triple-Header.

US Association of Rugby League (USARL) has named the official Men’s, Women’s, and Youth National Team squads for its upcomming Scotland matches in Las Vegas on February 27, coinciding with the NRL’s 2026 Las Vegas Festival.

The event marks a historic milestone for American Rugby League, with the United States hosting its first-ever national team triple-header. The occasion also signals the beginning of a new era for the Hawks programs, serving as the first international test for newly appointed national team coaches Woolnough (Men’s), Clarkson (Women’s), and Pua (Youth).

USARL Football Heads Morris and Stocks worked closely with the national coaching staff throughout the selection process and were pleased to see a strong geographical spread of players from across the country, following extensive review of match footage and performance analysis.

Final match-day squads of 18 players will be confirmed over the coming month as preparations continue. The USARL Board congratulates all players selected in the extended squads and acknowledges the commitment and professionalism shown throughout the selection process.

USARL Chair Matt Goschnick congratulated the players on behalf of the Board and praised the coaching and football staff for their diligence.

“This is a significant moment for the game in the US,” Goschnick said. “The work undertaken by our coaches and football staff has been thorough and deliberate, with countless hours invested in reviewing footage and engaging directly with players. We congratulate all those selected and look forward to seeing them represent the USA on an international stage.”

Further announcements, including final squad lists and match details, will be released in the lead-up to the Las Vegas fixtures.
