USA Coaching Staff

The USA Hawks have recruited a world-class team of coaches to pursue its vision of achieving victory while bringing a world-class standard to life on the field. With International, Super League and NRL experience in their coaching ranks, the Hawks backroom staff are looking to ensure USA's kettle of talent are fully prepared to spread their wings and take flight on the Rugby League World Cup stage.

Adrian “Ady” Cooney

Head Coach

Adrian Cooney made his appearance as interim Head Coach upon the inaugural test match for the Women's National Team earlier this year against the Canada Ravens in Burnaby, British Columbia. Cooney came into the role with 22 years of playing experience, and 8 years’ coaching experience - four of which are the dual role of head coach for both men’s and women’s teams for the LA Mongrel, based out of Southern California.
