Boston and Atlanta advance to National Championship Final
Congrats to the USA Rugby League’s NEW Conference Champions in the Boston 13s (NORTH) and Atlanta Rhinos (SOUTH) winners today in their Conference Finals.
For the first time since the league was formed in 2001, a new national champion will be crowned. Boston and Atlanta now battle it out for the USARL National Championship hosted in Jacksonville on August 29th.
Boston were convincing winners 20-12 and took the fight out of Philadelphia and in doing so put an end to Philly’s 5 year dominance. Atlanta Rhinos also created history as SOUTH Champions in an epic encounter against the Central Florida Warriors coming from behind to win 32-28.
Congrats to the players of the winning teams but also to the administration of the USARL for their tireless efforts growing the game of Rugby League.
