USARL Women Venture into Canada for First Time
The USARL Inc. have, in good faith and understanding, accepted application by USA Women’s Rugby League Inc. to ensure proper protocols, safety and wellbeing of USA players participating in 2 matches, one against Canada RL’s women’s representative team and a 2nd-tiered women’s team in Burnaby Rugby Club, Vancouver, April 16, 2022.

The USARL Inc., the national governing body for rugby league in the USA, have sanctioned these 2 matches to highlight the effort and dedication of those women wishing to represent their country in rugby league and who are registered with the USA Rugby League LLC, a member of the USARL Inc.

In sanctioning these 2 matches, and recognizing most of the ladies have little experience in playing rugby league, the USARL wish them nothing but the best of luck and hope the USA players, management, medical and coaching staff of the women’s teams ensure that our players and staff remain safe and healthy and return victorious.

This being the first international match of its kind, the USARL Inc. need to make all participants aware that it will not accept responsibility for incidents found to be non-compliant or not adhering to the USARL's Code of Conduct, Rules & Regulations and Constitution.

The match is planned to be streamed by the Canada Ravens here:
