The Game was an end to end affair with some bone crunching defense from both teams. The Warriors opened the scoring with Todd Moe, who finished in the corner after some good work from current USA Hawk Taylor Alley.

Further tries came from captain Brett Witte, Taylor Alley, Cameron Woo and Dan McGrath.

With Warriors debuts coming from Grant Seymour, Sam Nelson, Cameron Woo and Otto Hoover, and also welcoming back Dan McGrath and Brandon Gould, who both returned from serious injuries.

After asking Coach Gaz Walker his thoughts, he commented 'I though the guys played well today, we've implemented some big changes both offensively and defensively and today was the first time we got to see them in action. All that's needed now is fine tuning. We were dominant for long periods of time, we just need to be more clinical.'

Special Mention should go out to MVP Bart Longchamp. Coach Gaz added, 'Bart was outstanding today. With and without the ball his work rate was phenomenal. I also thought Cameron Woo and Joshua Jackson were impressive too. However, all the guys gave me a massive effort today. Atlanta are big, powerful boys and the guys fronted up with effort after effort.'

We would also like to thank Nick and the Atlanta Team for making the trip down and enabling us to put on a great show for our fans
