Minelab partners with USA for title sponsorship at Rugby League World Cup Americas Qualifiers
The USARL is proud to announce an agreement with Minelab, a global metal detector company, that will see them become the official title sponsor of the USA Hawks at this month’s Rugby League World Cup Americas region qualifying series.

USARL board member, Steve Williams, praised the Minelab partnership. ''We are delighted to welcome Minelab as the official title sponsor of the Hawks for the RLWC Americas Qualifiers. The relationship came as a result of the USARL being introduced to Fraser Kendall (Minelab General Manager – ANZ & East Asia) at last year’s RLWC2017 in Townsville.”
Minelab’s Head of Global Marketing, Michelle Meyers spoke about sponsoring the USA team for the World Cup qualifications. “Minelab is really excited to be supporting the US national team this November. We wish the USA squad all the best for their upcoming pool match against Chile and hopefully a ticket to the Final against either Jamaica or Canada.”
RLIF global operations manager and RLWC Americas tournament director Danny Kazandjian praised the sponsorship by Minelab, “The RLIF formally extends its thanks to Minelab for their sponsorship support of the USARL and continued investment in Rugby League and USARL as a RLWC participating nation.”
Kicking off on Tuesday, November 13 in Jacksonville, Florida, the USA Hawks will begin their World Cup campaign against Chile RFL13.

About the Rugby League World Cup 2021
The Rugby League World Cup is the pinnacle event in international rugby league. Like no other form of the game, players compete with the pride of their nation at the heart of every performance. In 2021 more teams than ever will compete to be crowned Rugby League World Cup Champions with four pools of four nations competing in up to 14 stadia across England. All quarter finalists from the preceding World Cup (RLWC2017) automatically qualify to compete. The remaining eight nations are decided by a qualification process based on global regions determined by the Rugby League International Federation. See below.
