Philadelphia Fight vs. Jacksonville Axemen USARL Championship Final

Headlining the USARL Championship is 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia Radio Hosts Preston Elliott and Steve Morrison.

The Philadelphia Fight and the Jacksonville Axemen will battle it out for the USARL Trophy at 3pm on Saturday August 24th in Conshohocken PA.  Both the Fight and the Axmen finished the season with a near perfect records with each team grabbing points from  the other.   This titanic game of Rugby League sees championship players from the 2011 (Fight) and 2012 (Axemen) teams that have been waiting for this match-up all year.

933.3 WMMR morning hosts Preston will be on hand from 2-4 pm, and Steve will be there from 3-5pm to mingle with local and international rugby league enthusiasts and their radio fans during the afternoon.

USA vs Canada

The USA Tomahawks vs. Canadian Wolverines international rugby league test match will follow the USARL Championship at 6pm at the same field.

It will be a full day of events for family, friends and fans of Rugby League. Prior to the Championship (2:45pm) the Fight will induct two new members into the Philadelphia Fight Hall of Fame along side team founder Jeff Preston who was inducted in 2010. Entertainment will be performed by the FIGHT VIXENS as they cheer on their home team PHILADELPHIA FIGHT looking for their 2nd Championship in 3 years!

$8 Adult admission includes both games with kids under 13 free.

For fans looking to enjoy a full afternoon of Rugby League, concessions include hamburgers, hot dogs, Chick Fil-A Sandwiches and Nuggets, Chips, Soda, Powerade, and Water.  Fans can also enjoy the beer truck with $4 Victory Brewing Company Lager, Summer Love and Headwaters Pale Ale as well as $3 Bud Light.  For the diehards (and unlucky teams) the Jager girls won't be too far away with Jagermeister shots or Jager Bombs. Fight and USARL merchandise will be available along with an event T-Shirt.

A.A Garthwaite Stadium is the home of the Philadelphia Fight and is located at East 11th Avenue and Harry Streets in Conshohocken, PA 19428. There is plenty of parking surrounding the stadium in the local neighborhood and also at 13th and Hallowell streets next to the park.
