International 9’s Tournament Sat May 16th
The Philadelphia Fight, alongside with the USARL, is proud to announce the 2015 International 9’s Tournament!.
Much like its rugby union counterpart rugby 7’s, 9’s is an exciting spectacle but is unique in design to showcase the explosive speed and strength often witnessed in Rugby League. Competing teams will field 9 players each side for two 9 minute halves in a group and knockout style tournament.
The tournament will again be hosted by the Philadelphia Fight, the two time USARL Champions and defending 2014 9’s Champions. The tournament will be held at AA Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken, PA (Harry St and E 11th Ave, Conshohocken, PA 19428) on Saturday May 16th with first kickoff at 10AM.
Four international teams from Canada, Jamaica and Australia will take on five of the best domestic teams the USARL have to offer. A beer garden will be set up for the semi-final and Grand Final matches at 5pm.
