This Saturday will open with a National Anthem performance by Jacksonville singer/songwriter Joy Dennis. In addition to her professional career work, Joy has performed the Anthem at a variety of events, which include an NBA game between the Celtics and Nets. The Axemen are very excited to have such a high caliber artist to open proceedings. To see the performance CLICK HERE, and you can find Joy at www.joydennismusic.com

The Tim Tebow Foundation will also feature during the event as the Axemen help raise funds for this wonderful Jacksonville based Charity. The Jacksonville Axemen are excited to offer two awesome prizes in a special raffle during the game to raise funds for the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Axemen pride themselves on giving back to charities from Jacksonville, and the Tim Tebow Foundation is a perfect opportunity. The Foundation has donated an autographed Copy of Tims book "Through My Eyes", and an autographed photo of Tim during his days with the Florida Gators. 100% of funds raised in this special raffle will be donated to the Tim Tebow Foundation. Fans will be able to purchase tickets from the Jacksonville Axe Maidens during the first half of this Saturdays Southern Conference Championship game, and winners will be drawn during the halftime show.

The Axemen Sponsors will also be a part of the day as they get to enjoy a networking event, hosted by Axe Maiden title sponsor JaxArrest.com, in the VIP Press Box Suite during the game. The event is designed to allow the current sponsors of the Jacksonville Axemen and Axe Maidens to enjoy the Championship game, while also creating an environment where relationships between sponsors can be formed. “The vision for this event is to foster opportunities that increase business between our sponsor partners,” said Spinner Howland. “All our sponsors have at least one thing in common, the Axemen, and if that can be used as the catalyst to develop business opportunities between the companies and individuals who support us, then it is something we want to encourage.”

An international Jersey presentation will also occur during the game. Members of the Hunslet Hawks (UK) who will be attending the USA Rugby League Southern Championship will present the Southeastern Rugby League with a team jersey to again help foster the growth of Rugby League in the USA.

Members of the Brothers Rugby League Club from Rockhampton, Australia will also be in attendance for the game.

Buzz Magazine will be on site to create yet another facet to the fan interaction and entertainment, and the always beautiful Axe Maidens will perform throughout the event.

There will be some incredible prizes in the Axemen $1 Half Time Raffle as always, and Bud Light is of course on sale for only $2.

And without any doubt the On-field action will be at its very best, as the Axemen face the Central Florida Warriors to see who wins the Southern Conference and takes their place in the National Championship. With the last game between these two teams being decide by only 2 points, and 9 former Axemen now in the Warrior ranks, the game has about as much drama and “score settling” as you could ever get between two teams.

Gates open at Hodges Stadium at 4.15pm, with kick off set for 5pm.

Walk-up tickets are only $8 and thanks to Republic Services kids 15 and under are admitted FREE. Concessions and Merchandise at Axemen games are priced to make the events very affordable for all fans.
